So I am out today doing something new. I'm working on a beginner tutorial on time-lapse photography. I hope to have it out in the next day or two then on to another one. Any suggestions on what you want to see next? Leave your ideas below.

Long weekend

So I didn't get out to do any photography, but I went to a small local street fair. While walking around there were at least ten photographers that had "booths" set up. They all have nice work and prices that varied.

So here is a question. Have you ever set up a booth at a local fair and have you made anything from doing so?

Fish Tank Time-Lapse Tests with GoPro Hero3 White Edition

I have made a couple time-lapse videos with my fish tanks. One was in my smaller 10g tank the other my 35g tank. Both videos are posted below. Here are the stats for the videos.

Video #1: 5 seconds, 2820 pictures, 4.73Gigs.

Video #2: 5 seconds, 4712 pictures, 6.98Gigs.

These were not shot in the best of conditions. It was really to test out the underwater housing that came with the GoPro. That being said since I made two videos the housing was working fine so no loss of a GoPro to water damage. you can watch the videos here or over on my youtube channel. http://bit.ly/BigAlsPhotographyYouTube

Time-Lapse of my fish tank to test the underwater housing of the GoPro Hero3. The water and lights gave it a weird look but the underwater waterproof housing held. I put it in my second fish tank to see how it fairs in there with bigger fish.

My second test of the underwater waterproof housing on my GoPro Hero3 White Edition. This time I put it in my bigger 35 gallon fish tank to see how it fared. It seemed to hold up fine. I had it taking shots in 5 second increments for the life of the battery.
