The Judgment Altar and Witches Well (1 of 2)

So I went out to find the Judgment Altar and Witches Well in Mount Holly NJ. I had been to the alter before with a friend but never the well. I had downloaded the Weird NJ app on my phone and saw it listed and it re-sparked my interest in finding the place again. I followed the directions from the app which led to the Mount Holly Cemetery. As it turns out the directions were wrong and you can't (at least anymore) get to the alter from the cemetery.

I called my brother and he was able to pull up a map and get me to a side road that had an entrance to "The Mount" of mount Holly. I also shot some video that I have to check and piece together. If its any good (Probably going to be Blair Witch style) I'll post that on a later date.

Tomorrow I'll post the Witches Well pictures.

The words Holy Holy Holy on the altar. Last time I was here kids painted on the altar but it looks like some one cleaned it up.

I was in Gettysburg, Pa a couple weekends ago with my Civil War Re-enacting unit the 8th New Jersey putting on a living history for the park. After it was over that Monday I went out and took a few shots in the park and thought I would share.

Franklin Parker Preserve (1-2)

So I went to visit Franklin Parker Preserve yesterday with hopes of seeing a Bald Eagle. Well I didn't see any Eagles or much wildlife in fact. Now I didn't go to the North end of the preserve, just the South near the Bald Eagle Reservoir, so maybe the other end has more to see. I'll have to check it out another time. Here are a few pics of the area.

Film project update

So I am almost done my first roll of film. 4 more shots then off to get it developed. Funny thing is my mom found 4 rolls of film in a drawer that we didn't know we had. Should be intresting to see what's on thoes.
